Wastewater Operator

This is a full-time, union position with benefits and time off, upon meeting eligibility requirements.  Employees start out at pay range Level 1 and progress through seven pay range levels. Work Hours:  The available shift is from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Thursday through Monday (Days off are Tuesday and Wednesday).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Takes plant readings and checks equipment to verify proper operating conditions. Monitors plant flow to make necessary adjustments to plant processes during high flow conditions. Adjusts manual controls or overrides automatic controls to bring equipment into recommended or prescribed operating ranges, switch to backup equipment or systems, or shut down...
