Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Full-Time | Onsite Department: UBMD Obstetrics & Gynecology Pay: Starting at $23 Locations: Downtown Buffalo & Williamsville Position Summary UBMD Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our gynecology team. This position supports physicians and advanced practice providers in delivering compassionate, efficient care to patients across the lifespan.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Triage & Patient Communication Assess patient symptoms and concerns, determine urgency, and recommend appropriate levels of care in accordance with clinical judgment, evidence-based guidelines, and UBMD/NYS protocols Serve as a clinical liaison between patients and providers to ensure continuity of care Provide nursing advice, education, and counseling to patients and families regarding care plans and next steps Care Coordination & Medication Management Facilitate medication refills and prior authorizations per provider direction Assist with referrals and coordination of multidisciplinary care Complete insurance prior authorization requests as required Documentation, Quality & Safety Accurately document all patient communications, assessments, and interventions in the electronic health record (EHR) Adhere to UBMD and New York State standards of care, promoting patient safety and quality outcomes Additional Clinical Support Assist providers with procedures as needed Perform venipuncture, blood collection, and specimen preparation for laboratory testing Support clinical operations by performing LPN or medical assistant duties when necessary Participate in additional clinical or administrative tasks as assigned Qualifications Experience/Qualifications: Active New York State LPN license required Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced outpatient clinical environment Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and providing excellent customer service Why You’ll Love Working Here 403(b) retirement plan with employer matching Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance 5 weeks of paid time if 75 hours biweekly per year is worked UBMD Obstetrics & Gynecology is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
