Linux Engineer

Sebenza LLC is a woman owned small business operating out of Tysons' Corner VA. We currently have an opening for a LINUX Engineer to support our client in the DMV area. FULL TIME DIRECT HIRE (SIGN ON BONUS AVAIL) ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE is REQUIRED Build, automate and support mission critical, highly secure and highly available large scale infrastructure.

Linux systems administration experience (Ubuntu, RHEL or CentOS or similar). In depth understanding of OS, systems security, encryption, and networking stack and interfaces. Configuration Automation - automation cookbooks and test suites for Ansible, Chef. Excellent coding or scripting skills (Python, Groovy or Bash).

Cloud technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure Infrastructure Service s. Support compute and data infrastructure both in the cloud and on-premise data centers. Automate and enforce IT governance, security, compliance and audit standards. CI CD experience with Github, Artifactory and Team City or Jenkins. Excellent docu mentation and verbal communication skills Expert knowledge of: Strong Kubernetes skills including disconnected installation, Kubernetes administration, and troubleshooting issues with the system Extensive Experience with Open.

Shift, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible and other container orchestration/PaaS technologies Must have solid bash and Python scripting experience Strong Red Hat Linux Administration background with a working knowledge of systems Experience with generating and troubleshooting scripts (i.e. bash, python, perl) Ability to troubleshoot and repair hardware problems Experience with Kickstart creation and modification Experience with configuring network related hardware Must have solid technical communication skills and organizational skills Real time containers and orchestration Working knowledge of: o Azure o Windows System Administration o CEPH storage o Storage Area Networks o Openstack cloud administration o LMA (Nagios, Prometheus, Kibana, Grafana and Elastic search) o DNS NTP o Link aggregation o CNI (Calico) IP Tables o Python o Groovy o Shell scripting o Ansible o Networking concepts o Routing o Change Management Principals o Operations Support Principals Job Type: Full-time Salary: $85,000 - $120,00 per year Benefits: Sign-On Bonus Relocation Allocation available 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance
