Posting Title: Gynecologist Industry: Medical Salary: ₹2.5LPM to 3LPM Work Experience: 0-1 year Responsibilities: Conduct thorough gynecological examinations and provide preventive care to female patients across all age groups. Perform and interpret transvaginal and abdominal ultrasounds (USG) for prenatal monitoring, diagnosis, and evaluation of gynecological conditions.
Manage uncomplicated and high-risk pregnancies, including antenatal care, monitoring fetal development, and identifying complications early. Assist in and lead normal vaginal deliveries with a focus on patient safety, comfort, and positive birth outcomes. Support in Cesarean section (C-section) procedures as part of the surgical team, including pre-op assessments, intraoperative assistance, and post-op care coordination.
Provide timely and accurate OPD assistance, including patient triage, consultation, documentation, and follow-up planning. Maintain detailed and compliant medical records in accordance with institutional and regulatory standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including obstetricians, nurses, and specialists, to ensure holistic patient management.
Stay updated on the latest clinical guidelines, protocols, and advancements in gynecology and obstetrics through continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements
MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MD/DM or DNB in OBGYN). Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council. Hands-on experience in USG (ultrasound) interpretation and application in gynecological and obstetric settings. Demonstrated competency in managing normal vaginal deliveries and assisting in Cesarean sections.
Proven ability to provide efficient and empathetic OPD support, including patient counseling and clinical decision-making. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with patients and families. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation standards. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call duties as required.
