This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital.

It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) and Patient Safety Plan at Blessing Hospital. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training/Experience: REQUIRED: Graduate of an RN School of Nursing Excellent written and verbal communication skills PREFERRED: BSN 1 Year RN Experience.

License/Certifications/Special Requirements: REQUIRED: Possesses current State RN license. Completes PALS within one year of hire. Completes pediatric orientation packet within 6 months of hire. Completes pediatric medication administration exam with at least 80% accuracy. Completes annual skills validation within designated time frame.

PREFERRED: Certification in specialty area when eligible.
