• Ongoing Coverage Type: Call only Call Schedule: 7a-7a; 24-hr calls Includes 6 to 8 hrs per shift of scheduled OR/surgery on weekdays 1 to 2 weeks per month Call Schedule: TBD CABG: 130 CABG annually; TAVR volume is similar Support Staff: Great APP support (APPsround on patients, assist with consults) & OR Team (first-assist) Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered OPEN SHIFTS Dec 18 7am to Jan 2 or Jan 3 or Jan 8 FACILITY INFORMATION EMR: Epic JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC/BE Active MO License or IMLC COVID & Flu vaccination ACLS Experienced DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in a broad spectrum of adult cardiac and vascular procedures, with valuable experience in general thoracic surgery; Will collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, pulmonologists, oncologists, and intensive care specialists to provide exceptional, comprehensive operative care. While the primary focus of this position is advanced cardiovascular surgery, the ability to manage and perform essential thoracic interventions is highly beneficial to meet our community's diverse clinical needs.
