Counselor I - Community Based Counseling

As a provisionally licensed counselor under immediate supervision, the Counselor I in the Community Based Counseling program provides counseling to transition aged youth 16-26 that have experienced traumatic life events, frequently exacerbated by involvement in the foster care or criminal justice systems, homelessness, growing up in extreme poverty, or coming from a military family.

Services are intended to be community based and may be provided at a safe, mutually agreeable location in Travis County such as client’s home or workplace, park, café, or a Life. Works site.
