Job Summary

Leggett Valley School is a necessary small school located in Northern Mendocino County, a small rural setting situated near The Redwoods, The Mendocino Coast, and The Eel River. This is a 1.0 FTE Middle Teacher position for a 6th through 8th grade . We offer a 4-day school week with 184 contract days and 152 student contact days.

Students are typically in class Tuesday-Friday with Monday being a teacher prep day in addition to one class period per day being prep time. Average Middle class size for 2026-27 will be between 10-12 students.
