• Female £15.50 per hour Location: Felixstowe, Suffolk – IP11 2 Positions Available 12hrs per week. Nights 36hrs per week. 1 day and 2 nights per week Days: 8am-8pm Nights: 8pm-8am Full flexibility required for both positions as can include weekend working. Make a Real Difference Every Shift Home. Direct is looking for a compassionate and reliable Support Worker, Personal Assistant (PA) or Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our team supporting a young woman living at home with her brother. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide consistent, person centred support and help someone enjoy the routines and activities that matter most to her. About the Person You Will Support She has cerebral palsy, learning disabilities and autistic traits. She can walk short distances but requires attentive support due to balance and coordination needs. She enjoys trips out, especially visiting Burger King and spending time playing 2p slot machines. She communicates verbally and benefits from clear, short instructions with time to process information. Her brother is closely involved in her care and supports carers in maintaining her routine. What the Role Involves Supporting community outings and activities Medication administration Moving and handling Personal care Household tasks and light admin Providing structured, consistent support About You Previous care experience preferred but not essential Experience supporting challenging behaviours desirable Knowledge of epilepsy desirable Reliable, flexible and positive in your approach Passionate about making a genuine difference If you have supported a family member or friend and want to build a career in care, we provide full training to help you succeed.
