Health Unit Coordinator/Ed Tech

Provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department. Meets the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff, and medical staff. Implements directions from the physicians and nursing staff. Handles clerical duties on the nursing unit, including answering telephones, relaying messages, keeping records, and directing visitors.

May assist in patient care and order supplies.
