Credit Officer

As a Credit Officer, you will play a vital role in our back-office operations, specifically in the CLM Domestic BFSI department. Your primary focus will be on managing and overseeing credit-related processes, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health and stability of our organization.

Manage and oversee credit operations, including loan processing and approval. Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Review and analyze credit applications, financial statements, and other relevant documents. Conduct credit risk assessments and make informed decisions on loan approvals.

Maintain accurate records and documentation for all credit-related activities. Provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless credit processes. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in credit management. Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient strategies.

Maintain strong relationships with clients and build trust through effective communication. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in a credit officer or similar role. Strong knowledge of credit analysis, risk assessment, and loan processing.

Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Proficiency in using financial software and tools. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality. Willingness to stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
