Assistant Superintendent

Working alongside experienced Superintendents and Project Managers, you'll gain hands-on experience managing heavy civil construction projects from start to finish while developing the technical, leadership, and problem-solving skills necessary to advance your career.

Qualifications

We are looking for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic, leadership potential, and a desire to build a long-term career in heavy civil construction. Qualified candidates will have one of the following: 3–7 years of heavy civil construction experience , preferably with increasing field leadership responsibilities; OR A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering, or a related construction field , with internship, co-op, or field experience.

Additional qualifications include: Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to lead by example and work effectively with crews, subcontractors, and project teams. Willingness to learn construction scheduling, planning, quality control, and project coordination. Ability to read or learn to interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; willingness to learn construction management software. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Successful completion of background including drug testing and criminal record review Why This Position?
