FINANCE MANAGER CA(SA)/CIMA

  • Stellenbosch, Cpt An established group with an international footprint is seeking a Financial Manager to oversee the finances of one of its divisions. This role combines financial oversight with commercial analysis, supporting management in improving performance, strengthening controls & identifying growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities include

Ensure accurate monthly management accounts and timely financial period closes. Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow and liquidity planning. Manage financial oversight of debtors, creditors and inventory. Support annual audits and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. Develop and monitor KPIs across multiple trading entities.

Prepare forecasts using historical performance and market insights to support resource allocation and inventory planning. Contribute to budgets, variance analysis and financial modelling. Produce management reports and dashboards with clear insights and practical recommendations. Work with operational teams to improve processes, reduce costs and identify automation opportunities.

Assess financial and commercial risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.

Requirements

Requirements CA(SA) or CIMA qualification. 3+ years relevant experience advantageous. Import and export experience. Foreign exchange and international payment experience advantageous. Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in tools such as Excel and Power BI. Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Afrikaans.

Ability to prioritise effectively and collaborate across departments. A practical problem-solving approach and strong critical thinking skills.
