Data Analyst

Savvee Inc. is seeking a detailed Data Analyst to support our federal client onsite in Ashburn, VA. This position will perform data analysis, trend analysis, forecasting, reporting support, and data validation across the client’s portfolio information. The analyst will reconcile disparate sources, document logic, investigate anomalies, and develop defensible findings for dashboards, reports, and leadership decisions.

The successful candidate must be able to work effectively with Government stakeholders, program leadership, functional leads, contractor personnel, and multidisciplinary teams in a fast-moving, mission-focused environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Collecting, cleaning, transforming, reconciling, and analyzing financial, acquisition, project, workforce, Agile, contract, risk, and performance data.
• Validating completeness, timeliness, consistency, refresh status, common identifiers, and business-rule application.
• Developing recurring analyses, forecasts, trends, exception reports, executive summaries, and ad hoc decision-support products.
• Investigating conflicting values and anomalies and documenting source, calculation, assumption, and limitation information.
• Supporting Power BI datasets, dashboard measures, testing, user validation, and documentation.
• Maintaining repeatable analytical workpapers, queries, calculation logic, data dictionaries, and quality checks.
• Communicating analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders without overstating uncertain results.
• Performing additional duties as assigned in support of evolving contract requirements and client needs.
• Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.
• Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND TRAINING
• Bachelor’s degree MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
• Four or more years of data analysis, business intelligence, quantitative analysis, reporting, or comparable experience
• Experience cleaning, reconciling, validating, and analyzing data from multiple sources
• Proficiency with Excel and at least one of SQL, Power BI, Python, R, or a comparable analytical tool
• Strong analytical reasoning, documentation, visualization, quality-control, and communication skills
• Must have the ability to obtain the client’s Public Trust clearance DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Federal, DHS, CBP, IT portfolio, financial, acquisition, Agile, or performance-data experience
• Experience with Power Query, DAX, SQL, forecasting, data dictionaries, data-quality rules, or AI/ML-assisted analysis
• Proven familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and responsible use of AI-assisted tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organization skills
• A highly motivated self-starter
