Department: Information Technology Services Job Title: System Analyst II Job Grade: 103 Annual Salary: $77,000.00 Location: 550 Club Drive, Suite 100 Civil Service: Not Applicable Shift Hours: Monday – Thursday (11:00 AM - 10:00 PM) Education, Experience and Skill Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field, or 4+ years of relevant professional experience.

Must have or be able to obtain CJIS Level 4 Certification. Experience with Hypervisors, Microsoft Office 365, and enterprise storage, DHCP, DNS, directory services, load balancers, in an enterprise environment. Thorough knowledge of server operating systems. Experience identifying vulnerabilities, hardening systems and software.

Knowledge of system analysis of multiple server environments. Strong interpersonal skills for working with users and other department management. Strong troubleshooting skills for solving problems accurately and quickly. Ability to work without direct supervision and on multiple projects at one time while maintaining quality of work.

Must be able to participate in rotating call schedule (one full week, approximately every 24 weeks) and must be able to aid other on non-call weeks. After-hours and weekend work required depending on the nature of the project. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to work in person, not remote.

Summary: This position will ensure that critical county systems are set up, maintained, updated, decommissioned, and well documented to maintain the best level of service continuity for county operations while maintaining regulatory compliance. Primary Job Duties Work with network/security admins to audit and implement best practices.

Actively monitor and respond to tickets, emails, chats, phone and text. Provide third-tier support to Helpdesk. Work in a team environment to come up with solutions to issues that arise. Work with other departments in implementations to understand their needs and be able to come up with solutions that meet their needs while maintaining the integrity of the systems and data of the county.

Assist with regulatory audits as they arise. Be able to troubleshoot and come up with possible solutions to problems that come up. Support analysis efforts related to infrastructure and business needs. Maintains documentation of server hardware, software, procedures, and updates. Support configuration and maintenance of server management/monitoring software for all platforms.

Assist with vulnerability identification and remediation through analysis. Ability to apply patches and configuration changes in a timely manner without downtime. Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and uptime. Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and be able to assess their potential risks and benefits.

Support change management efforts. Additional duties as required.
