Side Dump Driver – Heavy Civil Construction Location: Denver, CO area Position Type: Full-Time Wage: $27-$32 WW Clyde – Where Your Drive Builds the Future WW Clyde is looking for a dependable and safety-focused Side Dump Driver with a Class A CDL to join our team. In this role, you’ll keep our heavy civil construction projects moving by hauling demolition, rock, and other materials to and from job sites.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety. Transport dirt, aggregates, and demolition in a safe and timely manner. Maintain truck logs according to state and federal regulations. Access and maneuver through off-road Quarry's and construction sites. Obtain and provide signed delivery tickets.

Provide excellent customer service to clients and site personnel. Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and environmental standards. Must maintain clear and consistent communication with dispatch to prevent delivery delays and minimize disruptions to job site production. Demonstrate initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.

Must be proficient in using and navigating company mobile applications. Reports any incidents involving driver, company equipment, and private property damage.

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL Minimum 1 year tractor/trailer experience. Must be comfortable pulling up to 97,000 lbs combined vehicle weight. Automatic transmission restriction is accepted. Clean driving record. Ability to sit for extended periods, bend, and drive in rapidly changing weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.

Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail. Must be 21 years old or older in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and company vehicle insurance requirements.
