Role Title: Operations Manager Industry: Multi-Sector Enterprise (Real Estate, Entertainment, Telecommunications, Gadget Retail) Location: Nigeria Employment Type: Full-time Job Overview We are seeking an experienced, high-performing Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate day-to-day operations across a diverse business portfolio, including Real Estate, Entertainment, Telecommunications, and Gadget Retail .

This is a hands-on, multi-unit leadership role that requires a strong entrepreneurial mindset, solid business acumen, and the agility to direct disparate operational processes simultaneously. The successful candidate will drive operational efficiency, supervise department teams, maintain cost control, and ensure that all business units meet their strategic targets seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

& Duties

1. Multi-Unit Operational Leadership & Coordination Direct, oversee, and optimize day-to-day operations across all core sectors (Real Estate, Entertainment, Telecommunications, and Retail). Drive cross-departmental alignment, ensuring smooth communication and execution between commercial, administrative, and service delivery units Implement, enforce, and regularly review standard operating procedures (SOPs) and corporate policies across all locations and divisions.
2. Resource, Inventory & Financial Administration Oversee inventory management, equipment maintenance, and overall asset tracking across retail and telecom divisions. Monitor operational budgets, control daily expenses, and optimize resource allocation to enhance overall profitability. Manage vendor, supplier, and third-party partner relationships, negotiating terms to secure high quality and cost savings.
3. Performance Management & Reporting Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across all business units and deliver structured operational reports to executive management. Monitor staff productivity, supervise team leads, and foster a performance-driven culture with high accountability. Establish metrics to regularly assess project execution, sales order fulfilment, and service timelines.
4. Problem Solving & Process Optimization Identify operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or service delays and promptly implement effective solutions. Handle routine operational decision-making independently, escalating high-level critical issues to management with actionable recommendations. Develop and execute continuous process improvement strategies to boost overall enterprise efficiency.
5. Client & Project Execution Serve as a key operational liaison for major enterprise clients, high-value vendors, and external partners. Ensure all sector-specific projects, client deliverables, retail orders, and services are completed on schedule and up to quality standards. Perform additional strategic or administrative operational duties as required to support business growth.

Requirements

Minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or any related discipline. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in operational leadership, business management, or general administration (experience across multi-sector or multi-unit businesses is strongly preferred).

Business Acumen: Solid understanding of financial monitoring, inventory controls, KPI tracking, and standard business operations. Communication & Negotiation: Strong verbal and written communication skills for dealing with staff, executive management, clients, and suppliers. Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and modern operational/ERP software tools.
