Facility Plumber

The Facility Plumber installs, inspects, maintains, and repairs plumbing systems and related equipment throughout the facility. This role helps ensure safe, reliable operation and compliance with applicable codes and workplace procedures.

Key responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair water supply, drainage, wc, urinal bowls, water heater, kitchen sink and plumbing systems etc. Troubleshoot leaks, blockages, low water pressure, and equipment malfunctions. Inspect pipes, valves, fixtures, pumps, water heaters, and backflow-prevention devices. Respond to maintenance requests and plumbing emergencies; prioritize work based on urgency.

Read blueprints, schematics, and work orders to plan repairs and installations. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, materials, and preventive maintenance. Coordinate with facility staff and contractors during repairs, renovations, and shutdowns. Follow plumbing codes, safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and infection-control rules where applicable.

Keep tools and work areas clean, organized, and secure. Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to system reliability.

Qualifications

Trade test 1,2 & 3, or diploma. Relevant plumbing experience; facilities or commercial-building experience preferred. Valid plumbing license or certification where required. Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, materials, and applicable codes. Ability to read technical drawings and use diagnostic equipment. Ability to lift and carry equipment, work in confined spaces, and respond to emergencies.

Strong knowledge of pumps, swage and water treatment plant, swimming pool. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and recordkeeping skills. PalmPay Talent Acquisition Privacy Notice
