Senior SAP Fieldglass Functional Consultant Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Fieldglass Functional Consultant possessing extensive practical experience in solution architecture, system configuration, implementation, integration, and ongoing optimization of the SAP Fieldglass platform. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will serve as a functional Subject Matter Expert, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including business units, procurement, human resources, IT, external suppliers, and technical specialists to convert intricate business needs into robust, scalable SAP Fieldglass solutions.

The position entails spearheading functional workshops, overseeing the full lifecycle of implementation projects, mentoring junior consultants, and providing expert guidance through all project phases, from initial design and rigorous testing to deployment, go-live, and post-launch hypercare support. Location: Pan India Responsibilities

1. SAP Fieldglass Solution Leadership Serve as the primary functional Subject Matter Expert for all implementation and enhancement initiatives involving SAP Fieldglass. Direct workshops focused on gathering business requirements and designing comprehensive solutions. Convert business needs into detailed functional designs and execute precise SAP Fieldglass configurations. Assess standard Fieldglass capabilities to propose the most effective solutions for specific business challenges. Assume full accountability for all functional deliverables throughout the entire implementation lifecycle. Conduct thorough reviews of functional specifications and configuration work produced by team members.
2. Functional Configuration Execute hands-on configuration tasks within the SAP Fieldglass environment. Oversee Contingent Workforce Management operations, encompassing job postings and worker lifecycle activities. Provide assistance with Services Procurement and Statement of Work (SOW) management processes. Establish business rules, approval workflows, and other functional parameters to meet requirements. Audit current configurations and propose actionable strategies for process enhancement.
3. Integration & Technical Collaboration Partner with technical and integration specialists to define Fieldglass interface and data exchange specifications. Draft and evaluate functional specifications required for system integrations and enhancements. Facilitate seamless integrations between SAP Fieldglass and other enterprise HR and procurement systems. Diagnose and resolve integration failures and data inconsistencies. Orchestrate issue resolution efforts across functional, development, quality assurance, and middleware teams.
4. Testing & Deployment Formulate functional testing strategies and construct comprehensive test scenarios. Lead System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing activities. Manage the defect triage process and coordinate business validation efforts. Assist with data validation, cutover planning, system deployment, and go-live execution. Deliver hypercare support, production assistance, and conduct root-cause analysis for issues.
5. Stakeholder & Delivery Management Function as the main functional liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams. Conduct workshops with procurement, HR, IT, and end-users to align on solution goals. Oversee solution decisions, manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and control project scope. Mentor junior functional consultants and evaluate their work products. Create functional documentation and lead knowledge-transfer sessions.

Requirements

Proven hands-on experience in SAP Fieldglass Functional Consulting. Demonstrated background in end-to-end SAP Fieldglass implementation, rollout, enhancement, or support projects. Deep understanding of Contingent Workforce Management processes. Practical experience with Services Procurement and Statement of Work (SOW) workflows.

Proficiency in hands-on SAP Fieldglass configuration. Track record of facilitating business requirement gathering and solution design workshops. Familiarity with SAP Fieldglass integrations and the creation of functional specifications. Extensive experience in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, defect management, cutover, go-live, and hypercare phases.

Knowledge of SAP Business AI for eProcurement. Proficiency with SAP Joule for Consultants (J4C). Exceptional stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Skills

Experience integrating SAP Fieldglass with SAP S/4HANA environments. Solid understanding of APIs, middleware, interfaces, and enterprise integration concepts. Exposure to managing large-scale, global SAP Fieldglass implementations and rollouts. Experience coordinating with implementation partners, suppliers, and business stakeholders.

Completion of SAP Fieldglass training or holding relevant SAP certifications. Senior-Level Expectations Capability to independently lead functional solution design and implementation initiatives. Proven track record of owning complex functional deliverables from conception to completion. Ability to guide junior consultants and provide strategic functional leadership.

Superior communication skills with a history of collaborating effectively within global, distributed teams. Capacity to independently diagnose and resolve complex functional and integration challenges.
