Montessori Teacher
Job description
Prepare and maintain a structured Montessori classroom environment that promotes exploration and self-directed learning. Deliver engaging lessons using Montessori teaching methods and approved learning materials. Observe, assess, and document each child’s academic and developmental progress. Foster positive behavior, emotional intelligence, and strong interpersonal skills among learners.
Integrate faith-based values, moral instruction, and character-building practices into daily learning activities. Support children in developing independence, responsibility, and problem-solving skills. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and school leadership to support student growth and well-being. Maintain classroom order, safety, cleanliness, and an inclusive learning atmosphere.
Participate in school events, staff meetings, training sessions, and extracurricular activities. Ensure compliance with school policies, safeguarding procedures, and educational standards.
Requirements
Accept Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Saviour Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field. Montessori certification or training is Required Previous teaching experience in a Montessori or early years setting preferred. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Passion for child development and experiential learning.
Ability to align with and uphold the school’s faith-based values and culture. Strong organisational, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
