This award-winning national practice has built a strong reputation for delivering innovative and commercially astute planning advice across both the private and public sectors.
With a team of over 50 professionals across multiple UK offices, they work across a diverse portfolio including: Strategic Land Regeneration Later Living Retail & Leisure Mixed-use development Masterplanning Research & Analytics-led projects They combine commercial insight with strong ethical values centred around inclusivity, empowerment and sustainable development.
The Opportunity Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Principal or Associate Planner to join their London office. This is a senior, client-facing role offering exposure across a wide range of sectors and project types. While much of the work focuses on development management (preparing, submitting and negotiating planning applications), the role also includes: Local Plan representations Appeal work Masterplanning Strategic planning advice You will act as the primary client contact on key projects, taking responsibility for: Preparing fee proposals Leading complex planning applications Managing multidisciplinary project teams Delivering high-quality reports to agreed deadlines Supporting business development initiatives About You MRTPI Chartered (or working at a level consistent with Principal / Associate) Strong experience across the full planning lifecycle Proven ability to manage projects independently Commercially aware with confidence in client-facing situations Clear, articulate report writing skills Motivated to grow within a collaborative, ambitious team This role would suit someone looking for a platform where they can take ownership of projects while continuing to develop professionally within a respected national practice.
