Job Summary

Under the direction of the assigned management and/or supervisory position, assist a certificated teacher in providing instruction to individual or small groups of autistic, behaviorally disturbed, emotionally disturbed, visually handicapped and severely handicapped students in a classroom; monitor and report student progress regarding behavior and performance; assist students in developing various self-help, social and community skills.

Degree or 48 Semester College Units or Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Certificate or letter of passing Valid First Aid Certificate issued by Red Cross within six (6) months of employment.
