Massage Therapist

Description Welcome to Windham Mountain Club! Work Location: In-person role based in Windham, NY. This is a Part Time Year Round Hourly Position Pay: 40 per hour plus tips Anticipated Start Dates: The Beginning of November Schedule: May require working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Conditions: Must be able to get to and from work in all weather conditions.

This is an indoor position.

Overview

Massage Therapist for The Spa at Windham Mountain Club will provide a high-quality massages to Windham Mountain Club members utilizing different massage modalities and work to create a healthy, stress-free environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform a variety of massage modalities, including Swedish, Deep tissue, Hot Stone and Prenatal. Provide a high-quality massage to the club members following Spa protocols. Assess guests’ individual needs and preferences through consultation and observation Develop and recommend personalized treatment plans to address members’ specific concerns and goals Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are sanitized and well-stocked Adhere to all health and safety regulations and protocols Maintain accurate guest records and update treatment notes after each session Provide clients with information about additional wellness services and products Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, ethical conduct, and teamwork.

Perform other relevant duties as assigned Qualifications: Certification from an accredited massage therapy program Valid NY state massage therapy license or permit Minimum of 2 years of experience as a massage therapist preferred Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to maintain a calm and positive demeanor in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to individual guest needs Requirements Additional Information: This job posting is intended to provide a general overview of the role and does not represent a complete list of all duties and responsibilities.
