• Industrial Pay: $15/hr Location: Houston, TX 77095 (Cypress Area) Schedule: Full-Time, Morning, 36 hours/week Monday: 6:00AM - 6:00PM Tuesday: 6:00AM - 6:00PM Wednesday: 6:00AM - 6:00PM City Security Services is seeking a professional, dependable, and alert Unarmed Security Officer to provide security services and access control. The position is stationed at a guard shack and is responsible for controlling entry to the property, verify credentials, confirm authorization for entry, monitor vehicle traffic, and follow access control procedures. The ideal candidate is reliable, attentive, professional, and confident when communicating with others. Successful candidates must be able to remain calm under pressure, exercise sound judgment, and pay attention to detail while maintaining professionalism and confidence.

Responsibilities

Verify the credentials of all traffic gaining access through the gates. Must be comfortable denying or turning away unauthorized individuals at gates, entrances, or other access points in a professional and respectful manner. Confirm visitors and contractors are authorized before granting entry. Follow established procedures when visitors to no provide proper identification or have authorization.

Respond to complaints, disturbances, and suspicious activity Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports Contact law enforcement, fire, or EMS personnel when emergency situations arise Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence Requirements: Active Level II Security License or the ability to obtain one.
