Job description
Description Schedule : Wednesday evenings (5:30-6:40pm) & Saturday mornings (10:00-11:10am), based on program needs. Non-seasonal, non-benefited staff. Salary Range : $11.40-$13.20 DOE; all part-time employees receive a $20 premium family membership with employment.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 14 years of age
- Must have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of skating & ability to perform basic-level skills effortlessly. What You’ll Do :
- Teach Learn-to-Skate classes alone or with another instructor.
- Communicate effectively with both students and other LTS instructors and professionals
- Cultivate an inclusive, positive, and upbeat environment that ensures skating becomes a safe, fun space for all participants
- Monitor participants and respond appropriately to safety concerns, injuries, or emergencies Supervision : This position works under the supervision of the Ice Programs Coordinator. Why Join Us ?
