Position Summary

The DevOps Engineer (Part- Time) supports mission-critical objectives under the referenced work order by designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure management, and ensuring scalable deployments across cloud and on-premises environments. This role creates environment-specific Kubernetes configuration packages with STIG-aligned hardening.

Job Description The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure management. The position requires creating and maintaining environment-specific Kubernetes configuration packages with STIG-aligned hardening and RBAC enforcement. Engineers will implement secrets injection strategies using FedRAMP-compliant tools (AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault).

The role includes integrating CI/CD pipelines for secure automated deployment and rollback of ArcGIS components. Required Qualifications and Experience The contractor shall provide personnel who meet one of the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in DevOps engineering.

Candidates must have demonstrated experience in the following areas: Deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters. Automating cloud infrastructure. Implementing secure, high-availability CI/CD pipelines. Working with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd). Utilizing observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

Required Skills

and Competencies Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, AWS Code. Pipeline). Working knowledge of microservices architecture and service mesh technologies. Proficiency in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security best practices. Strong understanding of monitoring/logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

Ability to implement STIG-aligned hardening and RBAC enforcement.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
