• The Plant Ops Technician Level II at Ovation Communities is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of facility systems and equipment. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff by overseeing the functionality of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions, and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal operation.
• Collaborate with other team members to address and resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and schedules to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
• Provide support during facility upgrades and renovations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and prioritize tasks to ensure timely resolution.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff to address maintenance concerns and provide updates on repair status.Qualifications: Required Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training in a related field is preferred. Required Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in plant operations or a similar technical role.
• Proven track record of maintaining and repairing equipment in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues efficiently.
