Planner / Senior Town Planner

Future. Gen Recruitment is partnering with a well-regarded independent planning consultancy in central Birmingham to appoint a Chartered Planner or Senior Planner to join their close-knit team. The team are deeply involved in locally significant planning work and deliver high-quality advice across a range of development projects. The Role You will be involved in all aspects of planning consultancy, providing expert planning support to clients and taking responsibility for project delivery. This is a varied role where you will be empowered to make an impact within a strong team culture.

What You’ll Do Lead and manage planning applications and related submissions Provide strategic planning advice across a range of development types Prepare planning statements and supporting documentation Engage with local planning authorities, consultees, and clients Support and mentor less-experienced staff as required Play a key role in developing strong client relationships Who We’re Looking For MRTPI Chartered Planner 3+ years’ relevant experience in either private consultancy or local authority planning Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong technical planning knowledge and project delivery capability A team player with a proactive, commercially aware attitude Comfortable working from the Birmingham office as part of a collaborative team This role will suit candidates who enjoy being part of a tight-knit team and want to work on meaningful planning work while continuing to grow their career.
