Job Title: Special Education Assistant (Part-Time) (Grades 3-5 ELC Classroom) Location: EHIS Job Responsibilities: Instructional Support Assist the lead teacher in implementing IEP goals and objectives. Provide small-group and one-on-one academic support based on student needs. Use visual supports, manipulatives, and assistive technology as appropriate.

Reinforce lessons and activities using individualized strategies and supports. Behavioral Support Provide consistent positive reinforcement and redirection. Supervise students during transitions, breaks, and unstructured time to ensure safety and support. Help students with de-escalation strategies and coping techniques.

Personal Care & Daily Living Monitor and assist students with medical needs or health care procedures as trained and required. Help students develop independence in self-care and daily routines. Other Duties as Assigned Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, and lunch/breaks. Support students in general education settings when included.

Respond appropriately in crisis situations using approved safety techniques.
