Billing & Credit Control Executive

Role Purpose We’re looking to appoint a Billing & Credit Control Executive. The primary purpose of this role is to focus on ensuring a timely and efficient process is managed and maintained across all billing and credit control matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaising with clients, client accountants and HMRC to receive updates on the status of their R&D tax credit claim, from the point of submission through to the client’s receipt of the benefit
• Client care duties on handover from the Consulting team
• Full understanding of the RCK fee structure (how it is derived and calculated, and what that means for the clients’ claim)
• Creating and sending out client invoices
• Management of personal portfolio of client debt
• Escalation of aged debt internally as well as third party debt collection services; and management of the progress of these clients
• Any other relevant ad hoc finance administration duties About You
• Highly organised and proactive
• Able to demonstrate high levels of accuracy, diligence and attention to detail
• Exceptional communicator and must be comfortable with being on the phone, as this role will be spent making calls as opposed to sending emails
• Must be happy to work from our City of London offices 4 days per week (5 days during probation)
• Whilst no prior qualifications are necessary, study support towards a relevant qualification such as CICM or AAT will be offered after passing probation Why Join RCK?
