Tree Climber

The Climber position generally consists of working hard with our tree crews climbing trees to trim or remove them. Other responsibilities may include: Job Duties

• Trimming & removing trees based up the specifications of the work order
• Removing and trimming trees in hazardous situations
• Positioning and operating the chipper
• Miscellaneous tasks around the shop building
• Filling up with fuel, clean out & inspect truck at the end of the day
• Communicate any issues regarding equipment
• Use of safety equipment and following safety procedures Qualifications
• More than 2 years of professional tree climbing experience
• Knowledge of climbing knots and roping procedures
• Ability to recognize deadwood without leaves on trees
• Ability to climb 100 feet up a tree
• Ability to climb trees without spikes
• Ability to use a spider lift and bucket truck is preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift 50-100 pounds
• Class A, B or C license preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in all weather conditions all year round
• Positive attitude and good work ethic
• Ability to speak English and Spanish is preferred but not required Benefits
