Data Warehouse Lead Developer

Role: Data Warehouse Lead Developer Experience: 6 to 8 years Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Optimize SQL queries and database performance (indexing, execution plans, tuning).
• Support data extraction, transformation, and reporting requirements.
• Work closely with applications, BI, and data teams to understand data needs.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
• Troubleshooting and resolving job failures or alert triggers
• Support production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Work independently and collaborate with business, BI, and reporting teams.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Data Warehousing concepts and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, and Triggers
• Hands‑on experience with SQL Server Jobs for scheduling and automation
• Ability to configure and manage Alerts & Notifications for proactive monitoring
• Design, develop, and maintain Data Warehouse solutions.
• Design star/snowflake schemas, fact and dimension tables.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance optimization.
• Support data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple source systems.
• Expertise in writing complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions.
• Experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Good understanding of relational database design and normalization.
• Experience with stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Familiarity with ETL concepts and data warehousing basics.
• Experience with cloud data platforms Good to Have:
• Experience with Power BI and semantic models.
• Experience in performance optimization and large data volumes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD for data pipelines.
• Experience working in client-facing or onsite–offshore models. Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
