A/C Installation Working Supervisor

A/C Installation Working Supervisor Company: Artic Building Services Working Hours: 08:00-17:00 Artic Building Services is seeking an experienced and motivated A/C Installation Working Supervisor to oversee air-conditioning installation projects while remaining actively involved in hands-on work. The successful candidate will lead installation teams, maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate A/C installation works on site. Allocate daily tasks and monitor the quality and progress of work. Install, commission and test a range of air-conditioning systems. Ensure installations comply with manufacturers' instructions, project specifications and relevant regulations. Maintain high health and safety standards, including completing site documentation and risk assessments.

Identify and resolve installation issues promptly. Coordinate with project managers, clients, subcontractors and other trades. Support maintenance and service activities when required. Ensure tools, materials and equipment are used safely and effectively. Complete installation records, progress reports and other required documentation.

Mentor less-experienced team members and promote good working practices. Experience and Qualifications At least 10 years of A/C installation experience. Relevant air-conditioning, refrigeration or mechanical engineering qualifications. Appropriate industry certifications, including current refrigerant-handling certification where required.

Strong practical knowledge of A/C installation methods, equipment and commissioning procedures. Good working knowledge of maintenance and service activities. Proven experience supervising installation teams and managing site activities. Ability to supervise installation works while remaining hands-on . Good understanding of health and safety requirements.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills. Full UK driving licence preferred.
