Friday Ski & Snowboard Program at Nashoba Valley The Lexington Recreation & Community Programs Department offers a 5-week ski and snowboard program to elementary, middle, and high school students. The Friday Afternoon program is for students in grades 2-5, and the program is scheduled from 1pm to 5:30pm. The Friday Evening program is for students in grades 6-12, and the program is scheduled from 5pm - 10pm.

The Head and Assistant Chaperones will be accompanied by temporary and permanent parent volunteer chaperones each week. Both programs are currently scheduled to start on January 8 and end on February 5 (depending on make-up days). We are currently accepting applications for the Friday Evening program. Head Chaperone Ride the bus to and from Nashoba Valley and monitor students on the bus Address behavior or discipline issues Coordinate with parent chaperones for a smooth program Take attendance Review rules with participants Ensure all participants are picked up at the end of the program Serve as the main point person for Lexington Recreation while at Nashoba Valley Attend the Chaperone meeting in December Assistant Chaperone Ride the bus to and from Nashoba Valley and monitor students on the bus Address behavior or discipline issues Coordinate with parent chaperones for a smooth program Take attendance Review rules with participants Ensure all participants are picked up at the end of the program Assist the Head Chaperone with any duties they need help with
