Job Type: Officer of Administration Bargaining Unit: Regular/Temporary: Regular End Date if Temporary: Hours Per Week: 35 Standard Work Schedule: Building: Salary Range: 75,000-85,000 The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training.

The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

The purpose of this job is to fulfill and support the statistical collaboration needs from faculty members in the Department of Biostatistics which includes performing analysis, programming, writing.

Responsibilities

Perform statistical analysis and programming support consultations and collaborative projects under faculty supervision - 65 % Participate in statistical consultations with clinicians and researchers and present results from analysis at collaborative meetings-10% Perform protocol, statistical analysis plan, grant and manuscript writing - 10 % Set up and evaluate data management tools and perform data queries for studies - 10 % Performs related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested - 5 % Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience; plus three years experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in statistics or biostatistics. At least 3 years of data analytic and statistical analysis experience. Advanced education/degree may substitute for experience. Proven ability in SAS, R, and STATA. Good written and oral communication skills.
