Service Charge Accountant

A unique position to manage a full portfolio of clients in Central London and a well-established, asset rich client. The ideal candidate will have detailed knowledge of service charge accounting and the associated legislation; with a proven ability to work on their own initiative, excellent organisational skills and a pro-active approach to their daily tasks and be expected to develop the role as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

Issuing of demands for service charges and ground rents Managing one key client and the associated portfolio of high net worth leaseholders Entering and maintaining annual budgets for service charges Chasing arrears and progressing legal action against defaulters Dealing with legacy issues and disputes Bank reconciliation Collection and monitoring of management and administration fees Supporting the Central London team of Block managers Skills Honest and reliable Driven and self-motivated Confident, dynamic and diplomatic Works well under pressure and to tight deadlines Excellent communication and customer service skills Excellent literacy and numerical skills Good knowledge of Word and excel Detailed knowledge of Propman would be an advantage What We Offer:
