Asset Finance Associate (mid to senior)

Mid-Level to Senior Corporate Asset Finance Associate | New York Our Am. Law 100 client is seeking an experienced associate to join its New York–based asset finance practice. This is a core group within the firm’s corporate platform, handling sophisticated finance work for leading financial institutions and industry participants.

The practice advises on complex asset-backed and aviation financings and remains consistently active across market cycles. Associates are expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy and judgment. The Role

• Lead and support asset finance transactions with a meaningful aviation finance focus
• Advise lenders, borrowers, or both on domestic and cross-border financings
• Draft and negotiate principal transaction documents
• Coordinate directly with clients and counterparties
• Securitization exposure is valued but not required Candidate Profile
• JD class years 2017–2022
• Substantial asset finance experience from a peer firm
• Demonstrated aviation finance exposure
• Comfortable running deal components independently
• Sound commercial instincts and strong drafting skills Why This Role
