The Role We're looking for someone to help drive our web app to a new level. You'll uncover opportunities for game changing innovation by gaining a deep understanding of our users.

You'll plan and prioritize product features that will deliver awesomeness to our customers and confound our competition. You'll work closely with our team of UX designers and developers to bring happiness and joy to HR managers, employees, and executives around the world. Ambitious? Yes. Possible? Definitely! You understand contextual inquiries and how to discover what they need (even if they don’t). You like to think about the details before the details bite your users in the butt. Defining a product is not just about the idea, but ensuring that every aspect works the right way. You work with the dev team to make decisions on the fly about technical trade-offs and impacts.

You know how to discover product opportunities through first-hand observation and digging into market trends. You know how to guide the process of brainstorming solutions and working closely with user experience designers. You’re good at being the go-to-expert. You embrace the need to learn more than everybody else, and understand how to deliver expertise to different audiences in different ways.

For you, collaboration and questions are not an interruption of your work. You see the future! You understand enterprise and consumer software. You get social, collaboration, mobile, consumerization of IT and other mega-trends. You like to read about the new stuff coming, and can see how it can help (or hurt) your product and customers.

You pay meticulous attention to detail. You can project manage features through design, development, and release. You are fluent in best practices for web-based information architecture, strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques, and the ability to challenge these conventions when appropriate.
