Job description

This IT Project Coordinator role supports a public, multi-billion dollar biotechnology and life sciences company focused on advancing drug discovery and clinical development. Working onsite, this consultant will play a key part in helping IT initiatives run smoothly and achieve strategic delivery goals ensuring projects are planned, tracked, and executed effectively across technical and business teams.

Coordinate IT projects from planning through implementation and closure under direction of senior IT leaders or project managers. Maintain detailed project artifacts: schedules, milestone trackers, risk and issue logs, decision registers, and progress dashboards. Facilitate meetings and manage logistics, agendas, notes, and follow-ups to ensure clear visibility and accountability.

Provide professional communications: project status reports, stakeholder updates, announcements, and presentations. Track dependencies, resource allocations, and deliverables across IT teams, vendors, and business partners. Support technology readiness and end-user adoption activities—including training coordination, scheduling, and post-session documentation.

Contribute to quality standards, project governance checkpoints, and adherence to methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid). Elevate risks and time delays to project leadership for timely resolution and alignment to IT strategic goals.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or Project Management (or equivalent experience). 1+ years of experience in IT project coordination, PMO support, or training facilitation in a technical environment. Strong written and verbal communication, with polished professional writing and presentation abilities.

Demonstrated organizational discipline—able to manage multiple priorities and maintain detailed documentation. Experience with project management tools: Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, or SharePoint. Skilled in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methods; formal training or certifications (CAPM, PMP, Scrum, Agile) are a plus.

An inspirational place for you to do your best work, be engaged in meaningful ways, and continually develop the skills, competencies and qualities that set our team apart.
