Job description

The purpose of this position is to supervise the preparation of monthly financial statements for all nursing facilities and/or ancillary operations, conduct quarterly audits, and prepare ICF and Medicare Cost Reports.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Experience: 3 years in accounting Description of Required Duties and Tasks: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Supervise the month-end closing activities of the nursing facilities and/or ancillary operations Accountants to ensure financial statements are prepared accurately and timely.

Prepare documents for monthly financial meeting. Manage Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable for companies under construction. Review Medicare Bad Debt Reports monthly and complete year-end Cost Reports. Review audits performed by Accountants and assist with issues. Review and approve Refund Requests. Prepare year-end tax forms, including but not limited to 1099 forms and Sales Tax Forms.

Upload payroll to AS400 and balance payroll bank statement. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Other requirements: Position requires unscheduled overtime, week-end work.
