Ideally, two or more years of clinical experience, with emergency or urgent care experience preferred. Confidence in emergency case management, surgery and procedural interventions. Sound clinical judgment, including recognizing when to seek support. Clear, compassionate communication with clients and colleagues. A collaborative approach and the ability to provide calm clinical leadership overnight.

We’re looking for an Overnight ER Associate Veterinarian to join our collaborative emergency team in El Dorado Hills.

You’ll have the autonomy to manage complex cases, the equipment to support confident clinical decisions and opportunities to put your surgical skills into practice, supported by experienced RVTs, veterinary assistants and a cohesive nursing team. Our ER doctors provide care from initial presentation through diagnostics, treatment, surgery and inpatient management.
