Executive - Collection

Responsibilities

Initiate contact with clients through telephone, email, or postal mail to secure payment of past-due invoices. Pursue outstanding balances and negotiate resolutions for accounts marked as disputed or delinquent. Address client questions and effectively settle issues related to billing and payment status. Uphold a standard of professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with customers.

Accurately record all client communications and finalize payment arrangements in the system. Oversee a specific portfolio of accounts to guarantee the timely receipt of funds. Periodically audit and refresh client account details to ensure data accuracy. Compile and present detailed reports on collection metrics and progress to leadership.

Keep comprehensive logs of all collection efforts and correspondence with clients. Produce analytical reports focusing on account aging, collection performance, and payment patterns. Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service departments to identify and solve payment obstacles. Contribute to team discussions and actively support initiatives aimed at refining operational processes.

Utilize multiple communication channels, including phone, email, and WhatsApp, to facilitate payment collection.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field is a plus. Degree is mandatory
• 1-2 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a similar role.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle difficult conversations and manage customer relationships effectively.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
