Home Health QA Specialist

• Education Work Type: Full Time (80 hours bi-weekly) Exempt/Salary (Hybrid Schedule) Shift: Days, 8:00:00 AM to 4:30:00 PM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $30.27 - $40.86 / hour + Summary: Office based position under direction of the Director Home Health Quality and Compliance. Responsible for analysis of SOC, Recertification and Resumption (and Other Follow-up OASIS) OASIS and accompanying documentation, management of proper utilization of resources to ensure positive patient outcomes and optimal financial outcomes. Teamwork, flexibility, and professionalism, while important in all functions of the System, are central to the success of the Home Health Team, and are expected in this role. Duties will include covering team member PTO, and other requested office tasks.

Requirements

Education

If a Registered Nurse, Associate degree in nursing required, Bachelor’s degree preferred. If a Physical Therapist, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required, DPT preferred. Experience: 2 Years of Case Management preferred. 2 Years of Home Health case manager experience preferred. Qualified individuals will successfully complete the competency assessment.

Certification : OASIS Certification required. Home Health Coding Certification required. Must obtain within 12 months of hire. License: Registered Nurse or Physical Therapist License in the State of Florida required. Valid Florida driver’s license within 30 days of employment.
