Robotic Welder Direct Hire Opportunity | Superior Skilled Trades Location: Hartland, WI Pay: $18.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience Schedule: 1st Shift - 6am - 2:30pm Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire Job Overview Superior Skilled Trades is partnered with an established manufacturing company seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Robotic Welder to join its team in Hartland, WI.

This position is responsible for operating large-scale CNC robotic welding equipment, interpreting blueprints and weld symbols, and preparing components for accurate and efficient welding operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or welding environment, strong blueprint reading skills, basic shop math knowledge, and the ability to maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols to determine welding requirements. Take accurate measurements and plan welding layouts and procedures. Determine appropriate welding equipment and methods based on project specifications. Set up, position, and prepare components for robotic welding operations.

Operate large-scale CNC robotic welding machines to produce quality welded components. Inspect completed welds and finished parts to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards. Perform grinding, sanding, and finishing work as needed. Assist with additional production tasks during machine cycle times and downtime, including press brake operations and general shop duties.

Identify and report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or production issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and housekeeping requirements.

Qualifications

& Requirements Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols. Basic shop math skills and ability to take accurate measurements. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with manufacturing equipment. Ability to identify errors and ensure finished products meet specifications.

Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment. Previous welding, robotic welding, or CNC equipment experience preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Ability to regularly lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 lbs.

and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to push or pull equipment and materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive movements as needed. Ability to work safely around moving machinery and industrial equipment. Must have adequate vision and depth perception to inspect welds, read drawings, and operate equipment.
