Maintenance Tech 1 - WP

Become part of our team! We are seeking a Seasonal Part-Time Maintenance Technician I for a private residential community and sporting club unlike any other. SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE The Seasonal Maintenance Technician performs various maintenance duties requiring technical labor skills, plumbing, electrical, light carpentry, groundskeeping and more.

You work as a team member to ensure the community meets the quality maintenance standards set for the club.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently Possess a valid driver license and insurable record. Ability to drive a utility vehicle with trailer safely. Prepare and paint various surfaces. Properly operate pressure washer. Comply with all safety rules and regulations. Perform assembly of small equipment May require adjusted work schedules to meet deadlines. Regular attendance and timeliness are required. COMPETENCIES Working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of the profession. Ability to understand and follow oral and written direction. Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with other employees and the public. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions for this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is continually active and requires prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders and crouching. Must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
