Job Summary

Bay-CSS is looking for a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Annapolis, MD. The ideal candidate will provide care and support to individuals with disabilities in a Community Developmental Services (CDS) setting. It is essential that the DSP has a valid driver's license with reliable transportation and car insurance, as they may assist with transportation.

The position entails Monday to Friday shifts from 8 am to 4 pm, with potential variations in hours due to transportation needs, offering a rate of $21 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient attitude
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs
• Must pass a background check
• Willingness to attend and complete all required training Responsibilities:
• Assist individuals with disabilities with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Implement and adhere to individualized care plans
• Monitor individuals' progress and behaviors, documenting as necessary
