Job description
WHY WORK AT JOE & THE JUICE
JOE & THE JUICE is a people-centric food and beverage company built around culture, offering much more than just juice, sandwiches, and coffee.
We believe in four simple virtues that shape everything we do:
- Positive Attitude
- Inclusion
- Social Ties
- Growth
For us, this means that when you choose a cup-half-full mindset, welcome people from every background, build real friendships across the bar by creating great guest experiences, and use every shift as a chance to learn something new, you become more than just a Juicer; like us, you continue to search and find purpose and meaning in what you do.
From your first day, you'll be part of an international network of Juicers who support each other, celebrate wins together, and push each other to grow. You will learn by doing and move through our Moneyball career path, our internal system that tracks your performance and fast-tracks you toward promotion. Most of our leaders have earned their stripes behind the bar (fun fact: over 75% of our employees started as Juicers!), so you will always be part of a company built on that same journey. If you love a fast-paced environment, music, and people, and you like the idea of turning a job into a lifestyle, JOE can become a place to build skills, friendships, and a career that takes you across cities, countries, and roles.
JOB SUMMARY
Full-time
As Senior Product Development Associate, you'll lead the end-to-end development and delivery of new and improved products across multiple categories, helping mature JOE's global innovation pipeline as it scales. Based at our Global HQ in Copenhagen, the role sits within the Menu & Innovation team, working closely with Brand, Marketing, Operations, Technical, Franchise partners and Supply Chain. Reporting to the Global Menu & Innovation Director, this role manages projects from concept through to launch, ensuring delivery against quality, timings, brand standards, nutritional guardrails, and commercial goals. It combines shaping the global innovation agenda and 3-year menu vision with hands-on ownership of NPD and EPD projects from ideation to in-store launch, always keeping juicer ease at the heart. As part of the team steering JOE's innovation agenda, you'll have real scope to shape the future of our global menu.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and evolve JOE's NPD and EPD pipeline, leading projects from concept through to launch against timings, budgets and briefs.
- Lead projects from ideation through internal approval, following the internal 'Joe' gate approval process and GreenLight governance.
- Translate concepts into scalable recipes for high-volume execution, developed within brand, quality and operational guardrails, keeping juicer ease at the heart.
- Lead all product testing and trials ahead of launch, including scale-up, product and commercial trials, across appropriate markets worldwide, for your projects.
- Deliver and own a structured calendar of seasonal LTOs and rotating products, aligned with portfolio strategy and commercial priorities.
- Own the innovation pipeline for assigned categories, with full project management ownership of cross-functional teams through the stage-gate process from brief to in-store launch.
- Partner with Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, Training, Franchise and Compliance to coordinate critical paths and ensure launch readiness.
- Drive communication of product strategy and innovation recommendations to senior leadership, and act as the trend and competitor go-to expert for assigned categories.
WHO YOU ARE
- A defining ability to translate concepts into scalable, operationally sound recipes without losing sight of brand and quality standards.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and seniority levels.
- Strong project management experience, comfortable owning multiple critical paths and timings at once.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Min. 4 years' experience in a corporate product development role, ideally within QSR (Quick Service Restaurant).
- Hands-on coffee development and product ownership experience.
- Familiarity with stage-gate or gate approval governance is a plus.
- Fluent in English - other languages are a bonus!
