Misericordia's Heart of Mercy service experience has three options (summer, 6-month, and year-long) for young adults from across the country who want to share their lives with our I/DD population of children and adults in a community setting.
Service members live in community in the Driskill Residence, near the main campus, and assist residents on campus with a variety of activities of daily living, as well as with programs that focus on elements of life integral to personal happiness and well-being. Our goal is that the lives of both service member and resident will be enriched as a result of their shared time and efforts.
