Urologist

A hospital in Guntur is seeking a qualified Urologist with 0 to 1 year of experience. Freshers with the required qualifications are welcome to apply. The selected candidate will assist in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with urological conditions and provide appropriate medical and surgical care within their scope of practice.

Qualifications

MS/DNB in General Surgery with MCh/DNB in Urology, or an equivalent recognized qualification in Urology. 0 to 1 year of relevant experience; freshers may apply. Valid medical registration as per applicable regulations. Good clinical knowledge and patient-care skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to work collaboratively with senior consultants and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

Conduct patient consultations and evaluate urological symptoms and conditions. Review medical histories, diagnostic reports, and investigation results. Develop appropriate treatment plans based on clinical findings. Assist with or perform urological procedures within the scope of qualification, training, and authorization.

Provide pre-operative and post-operative care when required. Monitor patient progress and report complications or concerns promptly. Explain diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up instructions to patients and their families. Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation. Follow hospital protocols, medical ethics, infection-control practices, and patient-safety standards.
