Accounting Services Associate III

Job Track Description: Performs Report to Record (RTR)_Intercompany Reconciliation activities based on established procedures. Uses accounting, analytical, and coordination skills to support financial operations and reporting activities. Requires accounting experience, ERP system exposure, and working knowledge of financial processes.

General Profile Developed proficiency in RTR/P2P accounting processes and financial reporting activities. Completes multiple accounting assignments with accuracy and within defined timelines. Works within established accounting procedures, policies, and compliance requirements. Determines appropriate approaches for resolving accounting and reconciliation issues.

Acts as an informal resource and provides support to colleagues when required. Completes work with limited supervision and escalates issues appropriately. Functional Knowledge Developed knowledge of General Ledger, Journal Voucher preparation, Intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes.

Working knowledge of SAP and advanced MS Excel reporting capabilities. Business Expertise Supports organizational goals by ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and adherence to accounting standards. Applies understanding of accounting processes and team collaboration to drive operational excellence. Uses judgment to identify process improvements and enhance operational efficiency. Leadership Provides guidance and support to junior team members whenever required. Acts as a backup for the Senior Analyst and assists in team coordination during their absence. Problem Solving Analyzes accounting discrepancies and reconciliation issues to identify appropriate resolutions.

Provides solutions based on established accounting principles, procedures, and business requirements. Interpersonal Skills Communicates effectively with internal stakeholders, team members, and management both verbally and in writing. Collaborates across functions to resolve accounting queries and process-related issues.

Responsibility Statements Prepares and posts Journal Vouchers with accuracy and completeness. Maintains and reconciles General Ledger accounts. Performs Intercompany reconciliation activities and coordinates with relevant stakeholders for resolution. Prepares periodic financial and operational reports using MS Excel and other reporting tools.

Reviews, validates, and processes accounting transactions within agreed timelines. Identifies process gaps and recommends improvements to enhance efficiency and controls. Supports month-end and year-end closing activities. Ensures compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Performs reporting, testing, and additional assignments as required by management.

Provides analytical support for issue resolution and process optimization initiatives. Assists in training and knowledge sharing within the team when required. Reports to the Team Leader and supports team operations in the absence of the Senior Analyst. Maintains flexibility to work across different shifts based on business requirements.
